Returning after a four year absence with a new studio album in 2012, British rock legend Barry Adamson has released free track 'Destination' as a preview for his latest work. The Manchester born musician and composer is best known for his work with the bands Magazine and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds but has produced numerous notable solo records over the years; none more so than 1988’s concept record 'Moss Side Story'.

The X Factor is the show that regularly guides our Saturday night viewing from late summer right up until Christmas. At first, we watch young hopefuls wow the judges and some downright madness occur on stage from the occasional oddity; then, theoretically, we follow our favourites through the series up until the live shows, basking in the glory as they win the final. That is, of course, the theory to it at least.

Boy band Big Time Rush (main pic) have announced they will release their second album 'Elevate' on 30th January 2012. 'Elevate' is the anticipated follow-up to the group’s debut, 'BTR', which has sold over 700,000 copies worldwide and entered the UK Official Charts at Number Fourteen earlier this year. To date the group have sold over 3 million digital tracks worldwide.
